Assistant Resident Activities Supervisor
The Houghton County Medical Care Facility is accepting applications for
a full-time Assistant Resident Activities Supervisor. Responsibilities
include, assisting in resident assessments, care planning, and the
development and implementing of individual and group resident activity
programs.
Qualifications: An energetic, creative and organized individual with
good verbal and written communication skills who is a Certified
Therapeutic Recreational Therapist or eligible to become certified
through NCTRC or activity professional certified by NCCAP. Prior
experience working in a long term care resident activities program
would be a plus.
We are a 197 bed skilled nursing facility with a 28 bed dementia unit,
located in the beautiful Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
